Hydro-Quebec

Because all electricity in New England is mixed together on our common distribution grid, it is impossible to identify how much electricity from any one source is used by any one consumer.  For that reason, we can't identify how much UNH electricity comes from Hydro-Quebec.  We can, however, identify how much electricity from Hydro-Quebec is purchased for the New England grid.

The link on this page will provide you with information on electricity sources entering the New England grid from generation sources outside of New England.      When you arrive at the ISO-NE site, click on the "Morning Report" button at the top of the screen.  Then scroll down the Electric Capacity Deliveries list to
"HQ".  The electrical units are in Megawatts.  A (-) sign indicates electricity purchased by New England from Hydro-Quebec.  A (+) sign indicates electricity sold from New England to Hydro-Quebec.
