What types of Energy Efficient Products are available for purchase?
Energy efficient products can be purchased for almost any department within the University. Purchasing energy efficient products can be, in many cases, as easy as asking vendors for ENERGY STAR qualified products. These include many of the items commonly used in the office, the dorms, the cafeteria kitchens and even your homes! For products not covered by the ENERGY STAR program, the Department of Energy, as well as several other organizations, has developed recommended efficiency standards.
